KevPro is tuned to be ridden at high speeds. Fully loaded, thundering towards a kicker, it allows you to store huge amounts of energy – just waiting to be released when you push that edge into your take-off. Thrills guaranteed.

By adding an extra carbon stringer to the bottom of the board, we’ve made KevPro respond even quicker when fully powered up. It’s snappier, and more lively under your feet.

What goes up, must come down. Nobody likes a knee breaker, so we’ve made sure it’s comfortable on those high-speed landings. Not just that, the progressive flex makes sure it’s comfortable and smooth through chop, because those are the real-world conditions you will be riding in.

What were your design goals for KevPro?

The goal was very simple: make the best board possible for Kevin. In order to perform at his maximum potential, Kevin needs a board that is as forgiving and as easy to use as possible so he can focus on his riding and does not need to think about controlling the board. It also needs to be exceptionally grippy so he can load as hard as possible when he wants to send a massive jump. Finally, it needs to be landing as softly as possible so he gets the scores from his trick and can focus on his next jump as fast as possible.

Can you tell us about the shape of the board and how you achieved those goals?

The bottom channels are designed to be more pronounced in the tips of the board where the water flow is more parallel to the board in order to provide grip without slowing you down, while the center of the board has minimal bottom shaping in order to let water flow as fast as possible.

The edge of the board, however, has our rail edging channel that provides grip between your feet acting like a center fin for maximum grip without necessarily leaning on your back foot.

Thanks to the carbon stringers, KevPro is designed with a quick responding flex, which will provide a super positive feel when riding fast.

What’s new for collection 4?

By adding a carbon stringer to the bottom of the board, we made it a little more snappy, with a quicker response without making it too stiff. We’ve designed the tips to a ‘double swallow’. This design keeps the full rail while reducing the surface area. This allows you to push the board down further for even more grip when loading up for jumps.
