FLIGHTATTENDANT foils are easy-to-ride all-rounders. Easy takeoff, stiffness, ventilation resistance, and a mid-aspect platform make this a foil that can be used by almost any rider in nearly all conditions.

New design features are focused on improving turning, glide, and above all, predictability. Increased predictability helps riders progress from learning on flat water all the way to massive jumps and fully ventilated turns.

The profile, outline, twist, and taper have been developed to deliver great stability, efficiency, easy low-speed takeoff, and superior maneuverability, while maintaining impressive performance across a very wide speed range.

The curved wingtips help prevent ventilation from climbing up when riding close to the surface, making the FlightAttendant extremely forgiving.

The front wing and stabilizer perfectly complement each other, allowing for a short fuselage that creates a foil that is exceptionally stable and very easy to maneuver.

The perfectly tuned wing and stabilizer also allow effortless pumping from one wave to the next.


About our design goals for FLIGHTATTENDANT

The new design focuses on improving turning, glide, and predictability. We found that increased predictability helps riders progress faster, from first sessions on flat water to big jumps and advanced maneuvers.

Aspect: The foils feature a mid-aspect ratio to improve the glide-to-turn ratio. They are also flatter, with less aggressive overall curvature, to increase speed and ventilation resistance.

Profile: The profile was chosen based on several factors: easy takeoff, wide speed range, and ventilation resistance. The FlightAttendant airfoil has a very low stall speed and high stall angle, making it easy to get up on foil across a wide range of boards, sails, skill levels, and conditions. It also helps when landing jumps and pivoting in the pocket.

Wingtips: The wingtips have been slightly flattened and straightened in this generation. Improved ventilation resistance allows for less curvature in the tips.

Fuselage: The new fuselage has been revised to reduce weight and drag while increasing modularity. The mast now uses a conical box-style connection for maximum rigidity between mast and fuselage, the tail section has a reduced section, and the front wing connection is hollowed out.
