- Scope and validity of the terms
- 1.1 The terms apply to all individuals and the purchase environment at reedinbaltics.com (hereinafter referred to as Reedin Baltics) regarding the legal relationships arising from the purchase of products via the Reedin Baltics store.
- 1.2 In addition to these terms, the legal relationships arising from purchasing products via the Reedin Baltics store are governed by the applicable laws of the Republic of Estonia.
- 1.3 REEDIN BALTICS OÜ is entitled to modify and supplement these terms and the price list for the development of the Reedin Baltics store and for better and safer use of the online store. Changes and additions to the terms and price list will be communicated through the website reedinbaltics.com. Changes and additions to the terms and price list come into effect upon publication of the respective change or addition on the website reedinbaltics.com. If you placed your order before the changes to the terms came into effect, the conditions that were valid at the time of your order will apply to the legal relationships between you and REEDIN BALTICS OÜ, unless otherwise provided by law or these terms.
2. Prices
2.1 The prices of the Reedin Baltics online store apply for timely invoice payment in accordance with the provisions set out in section 4.
2.2 All prices include the value-added tax applicable in the Republic of Estonia.
2.3 Prices for goods shipped outside Estonia in the name of another company are without 22% VAT.
3. Shopping cart and order placement
3.1 You can change the number of products in your shopping cart. You can also change the quantity of the products ordered. While viewing the contents of your shopping cart, you can always go back to the online store and select additional products.
3.2 After selecting the desired products, mark your preferred payment method and delivery method, and click “Place Order”. Now double-check whether all the information is correct and click “Confirm Order”. You will be directed to the payment page.
3.2 On the buyer’s information page, enter the required information.
3.3. Be careful when filling out the fields on the customer information and order confirmation pages, as the accuracy and correctness of this information depend on the prompt and hassle-free delivery of the products you have purchased.
3.4. The sales contract for the products is considered concluded (Contract comes into effect) from the moment the payment due as per the order confirmation is received in the REEDIN BALTICS OÜ bank account.
4. Payment for products
4.1. To make a payment, please choose a preferred payment method on the order placement page.
4.2. You can pay for the products:
4.2.1 Print the invoice and pay the invoice at your bank.
4.2.2 Via bank link or payment card (choose the one that suits you)
4.2.3 It is possible to apply for an installment plan by checking the box: “I will pay in installments” on the payment method selection page.
4.3. Your order will be canceled if you do not pay the purchase amount within the stipulated time.
4.4. The order will be processed and delivered with a 100% prepayment.
5. Delivery and handover of products
5.1. Following the contract coming into effect according to Condition 3.4, the products will be delivered to you using the delivery terms you have selected.
5.2. Delivery of goods in stock within Estonia is generally 1-3 working days.
5.3 In case the product you ordered is not in stock in Estonia and must be specially ordered from the supplier’s warehouse, the delivery time within Estonia is generally 7-14 working days.
5.4 Delivery outside the borders of Estonia to Latvia and Lithuania is generally 5-7 working days, and to other parts of Europe 7-14 working days, plus the time needed to order from the supplier’s warehouse if necessary.
5.5. In cases where it is clear that the delivery of the product within the delivery period specified in the product description is not possible, and in other cases where the timely delivery of the products is not possible due to circumstances for which REEDIN BALTICS OÜ is not responsible, we will inform you via the contact phone number or email you provided when placing the order within 3 working days from the Effective Date of the Agreement in accordance with section 3.4 of the Terms. We will also notify you of the new delivery deadline for the product you ordered. If you lose interest in purchasing the product due to the extended delivery deadline, you have the right to cancel your order (see sections 6.1. and 6.3. for more details) and the amount you paid will be refunded to you. If the products have been handed over to the transport company from our or the supplier’s warehouse, it is no longer possible to cancel the order.
5.6. DPD will deliver the products to the address or parcel machine you specified when placing the order. Changing the destination later is not possible.
5.7. When ordering goods to a parcel machine, a code necessary for opening the parcel machine will be sent to the phone number you provided when placing the order.
5.8 We use DPD parcel machine service for European shipments.
5.9. Please ensure the accuracy of the contact information provided when placing the order to avoid delays and misunderstandings in the delivery of products. REEDIN BALTICS OÜ and the transport company are not responsible for delays in delivery and misunderstandings caused if the delay or misunderstanding is due to inaccuracies or errors in the data provided by you when placing the order.
5.10. Products will be dispatched to you along with an invoice-delivery note. Upon receipt of the shipment, we strongly recommend that you check the packaging of the products and immediately notify the transport company in case of external damages. Please report any damaged product packaging to the email address info@reedinbaltics.com.
5.11. When ordering goods to a DPD parcel machine, the maximum dimensions of the shipment can be L (36 x 43 x 61 cm) / 31.5 kg.
6. Order cancellation and product return
6.1. You have the right to cancel your order after payment for the products, but before the products are dispatched from the warehouse, by sending a relevant notice with your order number and bank account number to Reedin Baltics at info@reedinbaltics.com.
6.2. After receiving the products, you have 14 days to familiarize yourself with them. You are entitled to submit a complaint based on the laws of the Republic of Estonia, and you have a 14-day right of return. If for any reason the purchased item does not suit you, you have the option to return the product within 14 days or exchange it for another product by sending a relevant notice with your order number, bank account number, and the address where the return items are located to Reedin Baltics at info@reedinbaltics.com. Customized products created specifically for you or products ordered from the supplier’s warehouse are not eligible for return.
6.3. In cases of order cancellation as specified in point 6.1 or withdrawal from the order as specified in point 6.2, the amount paid for the purchase will be refunded to you, from which the customer bears the costs associated with the shipping of the product (point 6.5). The money will be transferred back to your bank account no later than 30 days from the receipt of the cancellation notice, provided that you return the goods within the same period, except in the cases specified in points 6.4, 6.5, and 6.6 of these terms.
6.4. The returned product must be complete (including all items contained in the product packaging). If the product was purchased as part of a promotion where an additional item was included, you must return the entire set (that is, all products).
6.5. Reedin Baltics reserves the right to charge the customer for the full amount of the shipping costs for the returned product and deduct this from the refund amount. If the product was sent to the customer free of charge, the actual price charged by the service provider will be considered as the transport price.
6.6. If the returned product (and its packaging) is damaged and the damage is caused by (i) circumstances not attributable to REEDIN BALTICS OÜ and (ii) the inappropriate use of the product, REEDIN BALTICS OÜ has the right to offset the depreciation of the product’s value against the amount you paid for the product and the amount due to be refunded to you. For the set-off, REEDIN BALTICS OÜ will send you a set-off notice to the email address you provided when placing the order. If you do not agree with the value depreciation indicated in the set-off notice, you have the right to involve an independent expert to determine the depreciation of the product’s value. The costs related to the expertise will be shared equally between you and REEDIN BALTICS OÜ, unless one party’s position proves to be clearly unreasonable. In that case, the party whose position was found to be clearly unreasonable will bear the costs related to the expertise.
7. Warranty and return of non-compliant products
7.1. REEDIN BALTICS OÜ is responsible for non-compliance of products and defects in accordance with the Law of Obligations Act, the time limit for submitting claims is 2 years for individuals and 6 months for legal entities from the moment of delivery of the products.
7.2. REEDIN BALTICS OÜ is not liable for:
1) Damage to the product caused by your fault.
2) Defects that have arisen as a result of improper use of the product.
3) Normal wear and tear of the product under ordinary use.
7.3. In the case of a non-compliant product, REEDIN BALTICS OÜ undertakes to repair or replace the product with an equivalent product at its own expense. If the product can be repaired, the replacement cannot be demanded, as it would cause unreasonable costs to the seller. A refund can only be requested if replacing the product is not feasible within a reasonable period.
7.4. Warranty expertise will be carried out by the product specialists of Reedin Baltics store and at their expense.
7.5. If a customer disputes the decision of the product specialists at Reedin Baltics regarding the product warranty, they have the right to request an independent expertise from a licensed entity. The costs of the expertise will be borne by the requester. If the expertise confirms the product’s defect and Reedin Baltics store accepts the findings, the costs will be covered by the Reedin Baltics store.
7.6. In the case of returning a non-compliant product, the amount paid for the product (including transportation costs) will be transferred to the bank account you specified no later than 30 days after receiving the notification of the withdrawal from the order and the desire to return the product.
7.7. Repairing or exchanging the product during the warranty period does not extend the original warranty period.
7.8. A non-compliant product that has been used will not be returned to the customer.
7.9. If the product is not accepted as warranty and the claimant does not demand the return of the product, REEDIN BALTICS OÜ has the right to dispose of the product after 30 days.
7.10. In addition to the rights arising from the warranty, you also have other rights provided by law.
8. Liability and Force Majeure
8.1. REEDIN BALTICS OÜ is responsible to you and you are responsible to REEDIN BALTICS OÜ for any damages caused by violations of these terms as stipulated by applicable laws of the Republic of Estonia.
8.2. REEDIN BALTICS OÜ is not liable for damages caused to you or for delays in product delivery if the damage or delay is due to circumstances that REEDIN BALTICS OÜ could not influence and could not foresee (force majeure).
9. Other Terms
9.1. All personal data of customers that becomes known during visits to the Reedin Baltics store and purchasing activities is treated as confidential information. An encrypted data communication channel with banks ensures the security of the personal data and bank details of the purchaser. REEDIN BALTICS OÜ also does not have access to this information.
9.2. In case of unresolved issues under the current conditions, the laws of the Republic of Estonia shall apply.
9.3. Disputes arising between you and REEDIN BALTICS OÜ regarding the ordering and purchasing of products through the Reedin Baltics store shall be resolved through negotiations. If an agreement cannot be reached, you have the right to refer to the Consumer Protection Board or the Tallinn City Court to protect your rights. Dispute resolution shall be based on the laws of the Republic of Estonia.
10. Disclaimer
10.1 Product images are for illustrative purposes only.
10.2 Product prices and availability may change without notice. In this case, REEDIN BALTICS OÜ reserves the right to refuse the sale and return the money to the customer’s bank account within 10 working days.
10.3 REEDIN BALTICS OÜ reserves the right to refuse the sale if the product has encountered one of the following problems: there has been a human error in entering the price or a technical error in the system (for example, if a product that costs 500 EUR is suddenly on sale for 50 EUR, this is clearly an error. Therefore, we expect that the customer should understand that this is a mistake and the product is not available for sale at that price.).
10.4 Product information is regularly checked and updated. Data may have changed since your last visit. Due to incomplete data sheets from manufacturers, there may be inaccuracies in the product information in the Reedin Baltics online store. In this case, the Reedin Baltics store does not take responsibility for the accuracy of the product data. We still recommend checking the product information accuracy with our customer service email at info@reedinbaltics.com before making a purchase.
