Design Goals

As key contact points between rider and board, bindings need to deliver outstanding comfort. That was the main focus behind Toasties, along with reducing weight to improve the overall feel on the water. Lighter bindings make the board feel more responsive, more lively, and less tiring to ride. The goal was to find the perfect balance of comfort, weight, and durability.

How They Were Made So Light

Starting from the SUPERBINDINGS platform, unnecessary thickness was removed from the pad without sacrificing cushioning. This not only saves weight, but also brings your feet closer to the board for a more direct feel. The inner mold was reengineered to place material only in high-load zones, improving both weight and durability. The strap was also redesigned to use material only where needed, while reducing thickness and using low water-absorbing materials to keep riding weight down.

Overall, the weight was reduced to 320gr per binding*, making Toasties one of the lightest bindings on the market.

Comfort

Comfort is about more than just softness and cushioning. Proper support across the entire foot allows you to relax and feel secure, which greatly improves riding comfort. The pad and straps were fully redesigned to eliminate hard spots, while the material density was carefully balanced to provide the ideal mix of comfort and control.

Toasties are now available in three sizes to ensure the best possible fit and riding experience.

A hidden storage pocket under the strap lets you safely store screws and small parts when packing for travel.

The rotational adjustability system offers broad freedom in both angle and distance from the rail, so you can edge and carve exactly the way you prefer.
