We’ve reinvented HYPERMODEL, pushing it further into the realm of high-performance big air by making it faster, with exceptional bar feedback, vertical lift, ridiculous hangtime, and the smoothest, quickest, most predictable loops you’ve ever experienced.

HYPERMODEL 2025 is not for everyone. It’s fast and playful, with very direct and engaging feedback. It’s for riders who like an active riding style and want to progress quickly.

Development

Our goal with HYPERMODEL has always been to make the highest-performing kite, choosing the best materials and construction methods available to us at the time of development. Last winter we completed the next version of our ALUULA-framed HYPERMODEL, convinced that we had reached the next level of performance. Then the opportunity to develop and construct a kite at the Brainchild factory came along, and we decided to make a bold move: reinventing HYPERMODEL from the ground up, going through the entire development process again to see if we could make an even better kite — faster, lighter, more reactive, and even easier to progress on. The result was mind-blowing. So much so that we decided to abandon a ready-to-release kite in favor of giving our customers a higher-performing kite at a lower price point.

Brainchild

HYPERMODEL uses the all-new PROWELD leading edge construction unique to Brainchild. This unique leading edge construction allows for some of the lightest kites ever made and, more importantly, creates the most streamlined connection ever between LE segments, providing the most reactive and best twist in a leading edge that we have ever tried. The result is a kite that offers truly effortless turning. Combined with our new Crossmixed Canopy Construction, Flex Strut, and a total redesign of the shape thanks to the Damien x Ralf collaboration, we’re proud to present the biggest leap forward in kite development.

PREDICTABLE

When you can fully trust your kite, with a smooth and consistent pull, it motivates you to try new things and progress. This is the pinnacle of high performance.

VERTICAL JUMPS

HYPERMODEL sits further forward in the wind window, making it much easier to get vertical take-offs. This allows for much more control in the sky to pull off your tricks and land them more easily with less speed.

FAST & PLAYFUL

HYPERMODEL likes to be flown actively. You can throw it around, and it allows a much higher riding speed with far more control. Doing so rewards you with power and precision.

FOILING & WAVERIDING

Generating more apparent wind means you can choose a smaller kite in lighter winds. You’ll love the drift, quick precise turning, and freedom from worrying about stalls. The on-off power delivery on the bar stroke helps prevent getting pulled off your board, wherever you position the kite.

INSANE PROGRESSION

Having a faster kite means you can practice tricks in lighter winds on a bigger kite, making it much safer to progress. Stay off the water longer, loop more confidently, and stick those landings with ease. The way HYPERMODEL loops makes it the perfect kite for anyone ready to learn their very first kiteloops.

FEEL CONNECTED

HYPERMODEL feels extremely connected and gives great feedback to the rider. We find this extremely important for such a fast kite, and vital for pulling off anything from complicated tricks to your first kiteloops.

CROSSMIXED CANOPY
Built using two different materials: stiff Hardflyte in the center for maximum lift and the highest angle of attack, and proven Teijin T9933 in the wingtip for a little more softness and the fastest turns possible.

PROWELD
A unique leading edge construction that removes the need for much of the reinforcement used in classic sewn leading edges for major weight reduction and instant torque transfer between segments.

NEW BRIDLE LINES
Stiffer, lighter, and thinner bridle lines.

FIXED BRIDLE SYSTEM
Carefully tuned for the perfect combination of loftiness and amazing depower without the need for pulleys.

TRAILING EDGE STIFFNERS
