“Never thought I would enjoy light-wind riding”
I’ve been so impressed by the performance of WHISPERMODEL. Damien and I went to a spot in Holland and it looked too light to even try, but we figured since we were already there… I launched the kite and was able to not only ride easily, but even do some board-offs and other tricks.
The craziest thing is how hard it is to make it drop out of the sky. I’ve been running downwind on the beach in 6 kts and it just drifts with you, even with dangling front lines. When you crash a jump, you’d expect the kite to flutter down, but not WHISPERMODEL — it floats and drifts down until line tension is regained, with no need to relaunch at all.
