Drawing inspiration from the success of the mid aspect ratio Flight Attendant wings, E:CAPITANO wings integrate some of its most impactful design elements into a higher aspect ratio lineup. Crafted for both intermediate and advanced riders, the ElCapitano series embodies high performance and versatility. Whether you are shattering speed records on the 575, connecting more waves on the 995, or gliding effortlessly while downwinding on the 1395, ElCapitano wings are built for a wide range of uses.
The outline shape and wing twist maximize lift in the center of the wing, improving efficiency through optimized lift distribution. This delivers an exceptional lift-to-drag ratio across all wing sizes. Combined with the new section profile, the wings perform across a wide speed range while maintaining a low stalling speed.
The higher aspect wings offer excellent speed and glide for their surface area, while reduced wingtip loading allows the tips to cut through the water surface without ventilating the rest of the wing. For smooth and predictable wing-out turns, key design elements inspired by the Flight Attendant have been refined into this higher aspect ratio design.
The section is designed with precision to disperse pressure along both the upper and lower surfaces of the wing, reducing the risk of lift disruption.
The curved-up wingtips create a steeper angle when they contact the water surface, significantly reducing the risk of ventilation whether you are pushing the limits or accidentally breaching a wingtip.
Each characteristic has been carefully balanced to create a high-performance wing that pushes boundaries while maintaining a smooth, predictable feel.
