ElCapitano Wing Series on uus hydrofoilide seeria, mis on loodud sõidukogemuse parandamiseks, keskendudes kiirusele, liuglemisele, prognoositavusele ja lihtsale wingtip’i veest väljatulekule.
Inspiratsiooni on saadud keskmise aspect ratio’ga Flight Attendant tiibade edust. E:CAPITANO tiivad ühendavad selle disaini parimad omadused kõrgema aspect ratio kontseptsiooniga. Loodud kesktasemel ja edasijõudnud sõitjatele, pakub ElCapitano seeria kõrget jõudlust ja mitmekülgset kasutust.
Olgu eesmärgiks kiirus 575 mudeliga, lainete ühendamine 995-ga või sujuv downwind sõit 1395-ga – ElCapitano tiivad sobivad erinevateks kasutusviisideks.
Tiiva kuju ja twist maksimeerivad tõstejõu tiiva keskosas, parandades efektiivsust läbi optimeeritud jaotuse. See tagab väga hea lift-to-drag suhte kõikides suurustes. Uus profiil võimaldab kasutada tiibu laias kiirusvahemikus ja hoida madalat stallimiskiirust.
Suurema aspect ratio’ga tiivad pakuvad head kiirust ja liuglemist, samal ajal kui väiksem koormus tiivaotstes võimaldab neil liikuda läbi veepinna ilma ventilatsiooni tekitamata.
Tiiva profiil on disainitud nii, et rõhk jaotuks ühtlaselt ülemisel ja alumisel pinnal, vähendades tõstejõu kadumise riski.

ElCapitano Wing Series is a new line of hydrofoils designed to redefine your riding experience, optimized for speed, glide, predictability, and effortless wingtip breaching.
Drawing inspiration from the success of the mid aspect ratio Flight Attendant wings, E:CAPITANO wings integrate some of its most impactful design elements into a higher aspect ratio lineup. Crafted for both intermediate and advanced riders, the ElCapitano series embodies high performance and shreddability. Whether you are shattering speed records on the 575, connecting more waves on the 995, or gliding effortlessly while downwinding on the 1395, ElCapitano wings are for you.
The outline shape and wing twist maximize lift in the center of the wing, gaining efficiency from its tapered lift distribution. This delivers an exceptional lift-to-drag ratio across all wing sizes. These key features, coupled with the new section profile, also allow the wings to operate at a wide range of speeds and maintain a low stalling speed.
This gives the higher aspect wings the best speed and glide for the surface area, but also, with the reduced wingtip loading, allow the wingtips to cut through the water surface without ventilating the rest of the wing. As aggressive wing-out turns are an exhilarating part of any foiler’s progression and predictability in these critical turns is paramount, we focused strongly on key design features to ensure the best and smoothest wing-out turns. Many of these elements have been inspired from the Flight Attendant’s success and optimized into a higher aspect ratio design.
The section is designed with precision to disperse pressure along both upper and lower surfaces of the wing, eliminating the concentration of suction pathways that can disrupt lift.
The curved up wingtips: When a wingtip encounters the water surface, the angle at which they meet is critical to the likelihood/severity of ventilation. Curved up wingtips facilitate a steeper wing-surface angle upon contact with the water, significantly reducing the risk of ventilation – whether you’re pushing the limits or inadvertently breaching a wingtip.
Each characteristic has been carefully harmonized to create a high-performance wing that thrives on pushing boundaries while maintaining a smooth, predictable feel.
